What is the effect of the size of the hydraulic cylinder grooves on the sealing device?

Generally speaking, the seal refers to the seal used to touch the seal. The touch seal depends on the precompression force of the seals in the device and the oil pressure when the operation of the elastic deformation of the seals formed by the elastic touch force operation. Therefore, the seal is very important for the hydraulic cylinder, but in the actual situation of the hydraulic cylinder groove size of the size of the device has a certain impact on the seal:

1. If the groove is too deep, two things will happen:

A, the gap between the seal root and the groove becomes larger, the seal root will not be fixed.

B. the interference quantity of the sealing lip and sealing surface becomes smaller, and the rebound force of the seal becomes smaller, so the failure rate of low-pressure oil leakage will increase when the piston rod is jumping.

Ii. If the groove is too shallow, two situations will also occur:

A. As A result, the interference amount of sealing lip and sealing surface increases, the touch area increases, and then the friction increases. During the return trip of the oil cylinder, the lip of the seal is not able to get useful smooth, and the heat increases, which accelerates the damage of the lip of the seal.

B. As a result, the gap quantity at the root of the seal becomes smaller, resulting in an increased probability that the root of the seal will be extruded when the oil cylinder is under high pressure.
